0Finding the best bib for weaning
I hope Baby Girl doesn’t only like pink. It’s best if she likes orange too. That way she’ll be more pleased with her current wardrobe.
It’s not that I’m out buying orange clothes for her. It just seems to be impossible to avoid orange when weaning a baby. Baby Girl’s meals are at least increasingly orange. She’s having carrot, squash and pumpkin.
It would have been fine if she’d actually eaten the food. But most of the time the purees end up all over her. Yesterday I had to remove squash from her nose, the collar of her body and the sleeves on her cardigan. She practically needs a bath after a meal.
Normal bibs are not enough. Baby Girl seems to think they’re great to chew on, but they don’t actually make my life easier. I still find myself spending more and more time trying to remove orange stains from her clothes.
Yesterday I decided this trend has to stop. We can no longer survive without the Baby Bjorn Eat & Play Smocks with arms. I’m just debating how many to get to ensure we’re never without a clean one.
