0Finding the best playpen
Baby Girl is a quick-learner. She knows how to blow her monthly fun budget. The best way to make me go on a spending spree is to get me worried about home safety.
A few weeks ago she started leaning forward when I put her in her bouncing chair and constantly flipping around when I put her on her mat. Her being so mobile made me extremely worried about safety. It’s not only about babyproofing. It’s more about having safe places to put her in every room.
That’s why I realised we needed a playpen. I went for the BabyDan playpen with six sections, which can also be used as a room divider. I liked the fact that it didn’t have any sharp corners, as I’d just been putting corner cushions on all tables and shelves in our living room.
In addition, I liked that we can open it up when she starts crawling and needs more space. The only negative is that I much prefer the look of the square, wooden BabyDan playpen, which also has an adjustable base that can be raised for infants.
But I guess I should stop worrying about the look of the living room. After all it was me who bought us the massive pink play mat with flower garden print. It really can’t get much worse.
