0Finding the right nursery
Baby Girl and I have visited four nurseries now, and every time we’ve finished a tour we’ve both looked a bit confused. She’s probably looked confused because she’s been put on the floor next to a new elephant or a fairy tent. I’ve looked confused because of everything but the toys.
Toys have seemed fine everywhere. What I’ve been stressed about recently is the little things. A meal plan with brownies served at noon kept me awake one night, and nursery teachers with accents that were sometimes difficult to understand got me thinking.
I’ve also been concerned about registering Baby Girl for sessions with hours that work for both her and me–not an easy one at all. In fact, I have a very strong feeling she’ll have that confused look again when she eventually starts nursery and realises I won this last one.
