0Finding time for mum
Before Baby Girl was born, I was planning to buy a magnifying make-up mirror. Now I realise I don’t need it. As long as we have a car mirror, I’m fine.
The last couple of days I’ve not once had time to put make up on at home. Instead, my make-up bag has become an essential part of the content in the changing bag, which I take everywhere.
With Baby Girl being more fretful in the last week, I’ve been running late for lunches, doctor appointments and my Bliss manicure. And since she’s the priority, it’s all about getting her ready to go out. If she’s decided to be sleepy and not feed when she’s due for a feed, I’ve had to focus on keeping her awake and ensure she is fully fed before I go. The two minutes I had set aside for myself just seem to disappear.
It’s become clear that the Harley Davidson ‘I’m Number 1’ bib Grandpa P gave her is very fitting. She certainly is Number 1 – and she already seems to be very aware of that.
