0Finding top London princess entertainers for kids birthdays
‘Where is Rapunzel?’
‘Rapunzel had to go back to her castle’
While munching on a yummy ham and cheese sandwich from an Elves and Ovens elf box, 3-year-old Baby Girl was chatting to a friend, explaining why Rapunzel had to leave her party. The girls were still in awe after having met a beautiful princess, and having had an hour to hang out with Rapunzel and her friend – the talented entertainers from Ever After Princess Parties.
The party guests had all helped Rapunzel find flowers and decorations she had ‘lost’ around the room. Those who wanted had received glitter tattoos, they had played musical statues and sleeping bunnies, been taught a dance by Rapunzel, heard her story and her songs and more. Baby Girl had even been made a princess at the end, and was boasting a special tiara.
There were lots of brilliant Disney classics played on the sound system throughout the magical hour, and even grown-ups were caught singing along during the action-packed and girly programme.
Rapunzel was a fantastic singer herself, and I wasn’t surprised to hear the singer/actor playing her was soon to go on tour with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. This – and the fact that the company has premium quality princess dresses – is why I think Ever After Princess Parties stand out on the London princess entertainers scene. Little princess fans tend to be brilliant at knowing their favourite princess’s songs, and I think birthday entertainers who can really sing make the very best princesses.
Baby Girl was at least impressed with her meeting with a princess. After her party, she came up to me and gave me a cuddle and said: “Thank you, mummy!”
The princess ceremony must have done wonders. What a day!
A princess party with Ever After Princess Parties costs £160 for one-hour entertainment with one princess. For larger parties, it is possible to book an assistant as an extra, and the assistant can, for example, do glitter tattoos like she did at Baby Girl’s party. The company runs special promotions every month, and we had agreed a discount to review.
