Finding top speciality birthday cakes in London
I’m already thinking about a theme for next year. Children’s birthdays are great–and it’s partly because of the cake. I’ve found a new interest and it’s ordering 3D birthday cakes.
It was so much fun choosing a cake for Baby Girl. I first started emailing with Mela from Kicca Cakes in May, and she sent a number of images of cake ideas related to our theme. In the end, I decided on a pink Minnie car with Baby Minnie and Mickey driving down a grass-lined street.
Daddy T and Grandpa P went to collect it from Mela’s place in Maida Vale in the morning on the day of Baby Girl’s first birthday party, and even Daddy T, who had no idea what he was paying for, was seriously impressed.
I think we can add Kicca Cakes to our favourite destinations on our sat nav. We’ll definitely be going back.
