First thoughts on babyproofing
Baby Girl has won us over. We will have a little foam castle soon. We’re turning our flat into one. A foam castle with a pink flower mat covering most of the living room floor.
It’s all because of Baby Girl. Every time I look at Baby Girl I’m more and more obsessed with the idea of a foam castle home. I love her so much I’m not willing to take any risks when it comes to home safety.
My view on babyproofing has completely changed in the last few months. I no longer mind ugly-looking oven guards and inconvenient locks. Any item that can help create a safe environment for Baby Girl when she starts crawling is a must-buy.
I used to dread the corner cushions. Now I can’t get enough of them. And I’m more worried about furniture they won’t fit on. I’m even open for moving furniture into storage. I just want us to live in a foam castle – a non-toxic one with rounded edges all around.
