0Fixing post-holiday gardening needs the London way
When I returned from holiday three days before Big Girl’s birthday party, I had a mild panic attack after opening the garden doors. We were expecting around 18 girls and parents, bringing the total to around 40, and Big Girl had wished for a garden party, so being able to use the garden was pretty crucial.
The problem was that our very low maintenance garden with artificial grass suddenly looked very high maintenance. It was completely overgrown, pot plants had died, and the rhododendron was hidden under weeds. The garden had clearly not taken to us being away, and was in dire need of some TLC.
I emailed Daddy T and asked if he would be OK doing some gardening the day before the party, or if he wanted me to book a gardener from Fantastic Services who could do it for him.
He quickly replied he had no intention on doing any gardening and please could I organise an alternative. I checked the Fantastic Services app and found out it would be £49 for one hour with two gardeners, which seemed like what we needed.
I was offered the opportunity to get the service to review after contacting the company, and the gardeners came the next day with refuse sacks and gardening tools that were far more advanced than anything we own. They were very efficient, removing all the unwanted weeds, cutting plants, advising on what plants had not survived the holiday, and planted new ones I had bought for the occasion instead.
After an hour the garden was transformed and Daddy T and I had not had to argue about getting it done in time. I was ready to simply put up some party garlands and welcome Big Girl’s friends to her Hawaii style party bash.
Easy peasy!
I like the friendly and professional teams and good value services from Fantastic Services, which is why I’ve booked services with the company several times now without reviewing too.
