Help decorate the PlayStation Christmas tree
To celebrate the launch of LittleBigPlanet3 for PlayStation4 and PlayStation3, PlayStation has created the world’s first giant, hand-crafted 26-feet-tall Christmas tree, which will arrive at Spitalfields Market tomorrow (Sunday 30 November). There will be pop-up decoration stations open from 10am-3pm on Sunday with a variety of arts and crafts activities, and everyone is invited to help decorate the tree for a chance to win PlayStation prizes.
Decorate cupcakes and head boppers at Canary Wharf
If you’re working in Canary Wharf, now is the time to take the children along to show your office building, as there’s also a selection of fun and free children’s activities on offer. There’s a charming Christmas market, where you can buy festive drinks, food and gifts, and on weekends there are free activities, such as free cookie and cupcake decorating in Canada Place, a head bopper workshop in Cabot place, face painting and a Santa’s Grotto. The activities are running from 11am-5pm on 29, and 30 November and 6, 7, 13, 14, 20-24 December.
Get in the spirit of Christmas at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland opened last Friday, and it’s the ideal place to visit to get the family in the mood for Christmas. It’s free to enter the Winter Wonderland, but you need tickets for the different attractions, including ice-skating, rides, the giant wheel and the magic ice kingdom. Santa is based in Santa Land in Winter Wonderland, and it’s free to visit him there. In addition to the variety of attractions, there are also Christmas markets with stalls selling unique gifts, warm drinks and more.
