0GEOX celebrates kids creativity and imagination
When I opened the door for friends the other day I had to excuse our looks. Big Girl and I were running around in fancy dress and boots inside after having both received samples from Italian footwear brand GEOX and being super excited.
Big Girl’s new shoes were hard not to like. They met every single criteria she has for fab footwear–pink, sparkly and with blinking lights–as well as my criteria for comfort and functionality.
This is what I wanted to get across when being the partner blogger at the GEOX event we were going to the next day and doing mini video clips for social channels. GEOX soles stand out for the brand’s innovative breathable soles, which is something that’s important to me as a mum when choosing footwear for Big Girl, and that’s also why I don’t mind that the GEOX shop on King’s Road is a favourite with Big Girl who always seem to like their colourful designs.
The event in the Oxford Street store was titled Let Your Imagination breathe, tying in the brand’s focus on breathability and creativity, and celebrating the launch of children’s author Dallas Clayton’s new book Gerald’s Missing Shoe, created for Geox as part of the Let Your Imagination breathe campaign.
Big Girl enjoyed hearing the book, which tells the story of a boy who comes up with a funny tale about where his shoe could possibly have gone, and like the GEOX junior shoe collection, the charming book encouraging kids to be creative was a winner with both parents and little ones.
