0Getting creative with Capri-Sun packed lunch campaign
The other day I was sitting in the restaurant at Harbour Club Chelsea when a mum came over and suggested it looked like I was ‘super mum’. It was, however, completely undeserved and all thanks to a combination of the hairstyling skills of Lina from Lina’s Magic Scissors and Capri-Sun’s packed lunch campaign.
Big Girl didn’t only have cool braids, but she had also been unable to wait to open her lunch and therefore ended up eating a pretty unique bento-style packed lunch in the restaurant. We had received a packed lunch kit with a leak-proof Yumbox with a removable tray with different compartments, shaped cutters, food picks, cupcake rings and Capri-Sun Fruit Crush from Capri-Sun to pack a creative lunch, and Big Girl and I had gone all in that same morning.
With the help of all the fun little accessories we had made faces on sandwiches, turned vegetable batons into teeth and tried rolling up cheese into cupcake rings. By 10 o’clock she was bursting to open her lunch, admiring her sandwiches with funny faces and trying something from all the little compartments in her box.
I don’t prepare a packed lunch for Big Girl very often, but when I do I now understand the importance of making the food a tad more interesting. I particularly liked the little cupcake rings, which are available to buy from Eats Amazing, as they’re not sharp and surprising a little one with a fun character in the box and putting something healthy inside a ring seemed to really do the trick.
Quick, inexpensive and fun!
