2Getting mini Londoners ready for London Fashion Week
The other week three-year-old Big Girl used a hairband to create a new hat creation for herself, and when she was drawing she made a shoe, decorated it with jewels and cut it out–including the kitten heel. I’m assuming she’s gearing up for one of the city’s big happenings, February’s London Fashion Week.
That’s why the sticker book I’ve been carrying around to keep Big Girl entertained in the last week is Sticker Dolly Dressing Fashion Designer London Collection (Usborne, £6.99), which we received to review.
It’s become my very favourite girly sticker book. In fact, some people who’s spotted us with the book have asked if it’s more for Big Girl, or more for. The book, which caters for girls of different ages, includes pictures of dolls in different settings, stickers to dress the dolls with outfits and accessories, and stickers with material for mood boards. Some of the outfit stickers are white, giving girls the opportunity to draw their owns patterns and designs.
Big Girl and I have been sitting with the book together several days, with me being in charge of putting on the heels, as they’re the most difficult to get right, and her picking out the best tennis and spectator outfits for Wimbledon and the best outfits for going shopping in Chelsea.
Bring on London Fashion Week 2016!
My daughter would love this. She’s a huge fan of The Dolly Dressing Sticker Books 🙂
They’re brilliant – and I love the London angle!
