Inside our London sitting room with OX Denmarq furniture

OX Denmarq Ninety table LondonIn the summer, I had spotted a chair I loved in a shop window in Scandinavia, and it turned out to be from OX Denmarq, a contemporary Danish furniture brand. When our interior designer friend helped pick out furniture and fabrics for our new London sitting room it soon emerged that the OX Denmarq Trifolium chairs in mocca leather and stainless steel would be a perfect fit, as well as the stylish Ninety marble coffee table from the same brand.

The aim was to get the new room all ready for Christmas, and Baby Girl was so excited when the furniture arrived, a rug, curtains, mirror and soon after: the Christmas tree–or ‘Father Christmas tree’ as she called it.

The ‘Father Christmas tree’ was placed at one end of our sitting room, and at the other end, we could place the new pieces from OX Denmarq, which has quickly become one of my favourite furniture brands due to the simple design and use of contemporary materials like high-quality leather, marble and steel.

I had wanted to make the sitting room into an adult reception room and not worry about a heavy table with sharp edges, but Baby Girl is equally thrilled with the new room and has turned the table into a Hama bead station with view of where her ‘Father Christmas tree’ was once placed.

I’m now on a mission to reclaim my mummy-space that fits my style!

I had a chance to order OX Denmarq furniture direct from the company in this instance, but the brand  is stocked by online shops, such as Designshopdenmark.com, which ships to the UK.
