Happy World Teachers Day!
On Big Girl’s last day of nursery school in July I walked out teary eyed and cried several times later in the day. I found it really tough to say goodbye to her amazing teacher, who had been such an inspiration to both Big Girl and myself, and I was gutted we wouldn’t be seeing her teacher regularly going forward.
A fantastic teacher can make such a big difference to our lives, and I’m not surprised my pen parents still exchange Christmas cards with a great teacher I had more than 20 years ago.
The important job teachers do has been celebrated all over the world as part of World Teachers Day today. To join in the celebrations, we started a card-making project using a craft kit we received from UK education recruitment specialists ITNMark Education.
