Holidaying in style with heidi klein Nantucket beach collection

The other day I received an email about the wait list for a sports luxe one-piece having reopened.

I’m clearly completely out of the loop.

I’m not on any wait lists for any swimwear and I didn’t realise a one-piece could sell out in under an hour.

But with nautical fashion being big this season, I can see why the hot heidi klein Nantucket one-piece (£210) with Breton stripes and front zip is in high demand. I like the entire Nantucket collection, which stands out because of the fresh look, and in addition to featuring swimwear and resortwear for mums, there are some beautiful towelling dresses for girls.

And Big Girl most definitely agrees.

In the past week, I’ve had one thing on my to-do list every evening, and that has been to ensure the powder blue Nantucket towelling dress (£60) Big Girl received to review was nice and clean for the next day. She loved the Nantucket dress so much I regretted packing half of the things we’d brought on holiday to the south of France.

She just wanted to wear the hooded towelling dress to go to the beach every day, and adored the big pocket at the front, which she nicknamed “the kangaroo pouch”. The “kangaroo pouch” was practical for bringing toys, and I kept having to convince her to avoid having too many cuddly animals spill out of the pouch.

In fact, she didn’t really need any cuddly animals when wearing this dress, as the fabric is so soft she sometimes hugged the dress itself. The towelling fabric is not as thick as I expected, and it was surprisingly quick-drying and, according to Big Girl, nice to wear even in warm summer weather.
