0Holidaying in Dubai with baby
I think I know what hotel chain Baby Girl likes. I have a feeling she’s a fan of The One & Only Resorts. She’s only been to one, but I’m assuming she’s sold.
Most babies probably would be. It’s not everywhere they would receive their own baby toiletries and their own welcome letter, explaining that they could make use of the hotel’s same-day laundry service for babies and that their host could bring different types of baby equipment for them to use during their stay.
Baby Girl had only turned six months when she first checked in at The One & Only – The Palm in Dubai, and I don’t think we could have found a better resort for our second family holiday.
There weren’t anywhere near as many kids at The Palm as there were at sister hotel Royal Mirage, but it was ideal for us since Baby Girl was so little. She didn’t exactly make use of the kids club, but she enjoyed the friendly service at the hotel.
The host brought a high chair to our room, making it easy for Baby Girl to have her meals in the room, and even the check-in assistant knew Baby Girl’s name when we arrived.
The attentive staff must have made the transition from London-life to holiday pretty seamless for Baby Girl. Having lots of people smile at her who know her name is exactly what she’s used to anyway.
