0How long a travel cot should last
‘It doesn’t fit me’
Baby Girl’s latest attempt to avoid going to bed is to claim that the bed doesn’t actually fit her. When we’ve used the travel cot this week this could easily have been the case.
But little did she know that her parents had actually chosen this exact travel cot to ensure it would fit for as long as possible–ideally until she’s close to 3.
With travelling being so important to us, we definitely didn’t buy a travel cot on impulse. This had been discussed at length, and we had received expert advice from the lovely baby shopping advisers at Babylist in Fulham.
The travel cot absolutely does fit. There’s no way 26-month-old Baby Girl can stay up another hour because of the bed being inappropriate.
I know some travel cots are small in size and less sturdy than the one we have, which is from BabyDan. The BabyDan travel cot isn’t the lightest travel cot on the market–but it lasts.
