0How to help a moody toddler
When I took Baby Girl to see her paediatrician on Monday, I ensured I had put more than enough money on the parking meter to allow us to stop by a pharmacy and pick up a prescription after the appointment. But it turned out 13-month old Baby Girl didn’t need Calpol or anything else from Boots.
She needed love.
I was worried because she had seemed more moody than usual, and my concern was that she was in pain or that there was something upsetting her.
The paediatrician, who knows her well, checked her throat, mouth, ears, chest and temperature and weighed her. But there was nothing wrong with Baby Girl.
Her diagnosis was ‘bad mood’ – and it’s best treated with lots of love.
Bear hugs and big smiles. Baby Girl should be fine in no time. If there’s one thing I know I can do, it’s to love my little star.
