How to keep baby warm the Scandinavian way

Levanger baby cap,HEAVENLY BLUEWhen I went to an event earlier this week a mum noticed Baby Boy’s hat as soon as he got out of his buggy. The other mum wanted to get a hat that wouldn’t fall off baby’s head and keep baby warm, and Baby Boy’s hat definitely meets both requirements.

He received his hat as a gift from WoolLand Norway, which opened a UK online store earlier this autumn, and I really wanted the merino wool baby hat, as a balaclava-style hat is ideal in cold weather.

This type of hat is very common in Scandinavia, but I’m surprised the style isn’t as popular here. It means baby’s neck is kept warm too, replacing the need for another neck warmer. The WoolLand baby hat (£29), available in pink and blue, is not too thick and works for London weather, as merino wool regulates body temperature, keeps baby dry and is ideal for sensitive skin.

I also love the cute ears on the WoolLand baby hat and it’s the best hat for Baby Boy right now.

Adorable and warm!
