How to plan a fourth birthday party
‘We can fly my friends here for my party!’
Turning 4 appears to be a big deal. Big Girl suggested all her friends should fly to France and celebrate her birthday on the Riviera.
After holidaying in the area she decided she wanted to have her next birthday party there, and her proposed guest list included all her friends from nursery, who she seemed to think we could easily fly from London to Nice and transfer further south on the French Riviera to ensure we could all celebrate Big Girl turning 4 in style.
She started wanting a fairy party, which I thought sounded like a great plan, and when she changed her request to a mermaid party I was also happy to play ball.
The party is still months away, however, and her party planning is getting more extravagant by the day.
