Institute of Imagination introduces Imagination Lab with family day
Next weekend will see The Institute of Imagination’s Imagination Lab, designed to foster young imagination, launching with family event recode next Saturday 11 February.
Recode is the first in a series of family events, where children are invited to experiment, remix and recode their world with the opportunity to participate in 25 activities that will fuse dance with mathematics, robotics with coded art, sound with language and more.
For the event, Institute of Imagination has teamed up with Technology Will Save Us with their new Mover Kit, School of Noise who will decipher code through sound, The Doodle Man’s recodable Doodle drawings and YoSteam who will be running activities to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
The event is recommended for children aged 5 to 12 years, and all participants need to book tickets (£7 per person). The Imagination Lab at The Workshop is located on Lambeth High Street
