0Introducing baby to a new buggy seat
It only took me three weeks to fix Baby Girl’s buggy – and by fixing I mean repeatedly asking Daddy T to do it. It wasn’t a problem that it took time though. After ten years, we know each other well enough to plan these things.
That’s why I started hinting it might be a good idea to change Baby Girl’s buggy when she was five months old. She’s been fine in the Bugaboo Cameleon carrycot so far since she’s normally only in the buggy when she’s asleep, but now that she’s soon to turn six months it was time for change.
She is awake more and it helps if we can be flexible with what times of the day we’re out and about.
But when we first placed Baby Girl in the new seat on her Bugaboo, she looked confused. Almost as confused as Daddy T when he tried assembling the seat.
I guess it takes time to process a change like this though – just like it took Daddy T time to process the step-by-step guide in the illustrated Bugaboo instruction manual.
