0Jurassic Kingdom to bring life-sized animated dinosaurs to Osterley Park
After visiting Natural History Museum and the new T. Rex Grill last week and working with Big Girl on a dinosaur presentation, I’ve been testing Daddy T’s dinosaur skills, throwing around facts about the dinosaur discovered in Surrey and making him guess the number of dinosaur species.
He might be getting slightly annoyed with me, but I’m sure he’ll be doing the same after he takes Big Girl to the next big dinosaur attraction opening in London in April, which we’ve been invited to visit.
Jurassic Kingdom hits Osterley Park from 1 to 17 April, bringing an outdoor dinosaur experience to London families and marking the start of the UK tour of the event. The experience will feature more than 30 life-sized animated dinosaurs with moving arms, heads and jaws, blinking eyes and roaring sound effects.
Visitors will walk through the park to discover the dinosaurs, ranging from popular dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops to flying dinosaurs like Pterosaur. Children can also have a go at digging up dinosaur bones in an excavation scene, and for a small extra fee, there will be an opportunity to try a virtual dinosaur-themed experience.
Jurassic Kingdom may sound a tad scary for some little dinosaur fans, but for others I could see a visit to the outdoor event in Osterley Park being a pretty unique and educational experience.
