0Keep boys looking stylish with UV designer swimwear from heidi klein
After I returned to London from a mini holiday with the kids to Cap d’Antibes last week, I went straight out to buy myself some new swimwear. It just seemed like I didn’t quite fit in with the kids anymore, as they looked super cool in new heidi klein designer kidswear.
heidi klein introduced a boys collection last year, and I’ve been excited to see the range continue to expand with more stylish UV designer swimwear for boys in sizes 2-3 years to 11-12 years.
The collection, designed to keep active boys safe in the sun in advanced UV material, includes rash vests and swim trunks in lightweight and quick-drying fabrics that seem comfortable to wear for running around on the beach, swimming and playing.
We received the Portland Boys Short Trunk (£55) in a blood orange colour with a navy compass print at the front and adjustable waistband, and the Key West Boys Rash Vest (£60) with neon orange arms and a navy compass print on white and navy details. The collection includes several pieces in navy and orange, meaning it’s easy to mix and match different styles and vary the look.
I was surprised how thin the fabric is for the rash vest compared to other brands we’ve tried, and I could see this making it particularly comfortable to wear on hot summer days on the beach. I also think the neon orange on the Henry rash vest is practical for looking after older boys full of energy on the beach, as the block colour is easy to spot.
The nautical print still makes the stylish pieces timeless classics, and I have a feel Baby Boy would look very appropriately dressed for a summer somewhere like Cape Cod.
Functional and stylish swimwear!
