Keeping baby cool at night
I’ve found a new activity to keep me busy at night. I’ve been assigned the role as personal air cooler for Baby Girl, and it involves getting up regularly in the middle of the night.
We couldn’t get our bedroom fan to work when returning from holiday yesterday, and Baby Girl’s room was way too hot. Daddy T didn’t share my concerns though. He didn’t see the need to get up to wave a magazine over Baby Girl for a few minutes.
But I figured it was the perfect solution. I put her to bed in her nappy and she had the window open, but I still wasn’t sure I’d done enough to create a decent sleeping environment for her.
Waving a magazine over her now and then made me feel much better–and I really hope she noticed the extra effort I made.
