0KidZania London role play city for kids to open at Westfield in June
One of the questions I’ve had from South West London mums recently is: “When will KidZania open at Westfield?”
And now there’s finally a date released for the opening of this much-awaited new child-sized city, which will introduce children to a number of occupations. KidZania London, which can welcome 1700 visitors at the same time, opens on Thursday 25 June and fills a space the size of Leicester Square and has a ceiling height similar to Heathrow Terminal 5.
There are more than 60 establishments in the city, including a hospital, stadium, department store, beauty salon, police department, smoothie factory, acting academy, dentist, courier service and many more. Each workplace offers children a role play adventure, giving them the opportunity to work to earn kidZos, KidZania’s own currency.
In the bank in KidZania, they can deposit kidZos into a savings account and get their very own debit card, and kidZos can be spent in the city.
I can already see KidZania becoming one of our family’s favourite London attractions, and I’m so happy Baby Girl is old enough, so we have a good reason to go experience it!
Tickets for KidZania London, which is the 19th KidZania opening internationally, are now available to pre-book online and start from £10 for children aged 1 to 3; £28 for children aged 4 to 14; and £16.50 for adults 15 and over.
