0Lego Friends: Girlz 4 Life to entertain kids over half term
‘I want to be Livi. She had a dress and a cape’
Big Girl now has a new pretend game she’s playing. She’s called Livi and she’s a pop star, and I’m Livi’s friend. This all started after she was completely captivated by the Lego Friends: Girlz 4 Life film, which we went to see last weekend at a screening at Warner Bros .
In the film, which is now out on Blu-Ray, DVD and digit, the Lego Friends girls try to give a demo of their song to mega pop star Livi, but her manager steals it to make it Livi’s next hit single. The girls attempt to stop Livi from performing the hit at an upcoming concert to get the credit they deserve and ensure they’re back on the road to have a career in music. Along the way they realise what it means to be famous and that friendships are more important to treasure.
I think the girly 70-minute long feel-good film won us all over, and it’s the type of film I would enjoy watching with Big Girl on a lazy day at home. I was impressed with the catchy songs in the film, and I’m not surprised if the main song ‘Girlz’ becomes popular to download–we’ve at least watched the music video several times on YouTube.
