Review: Little Green Radicals for organic unisex kids clothes

little-green-radicals-boy-budokwai‘What a smart little boy!’

Four-year-old Big Girl is often a kind big sister, complimenting Baby Boy on what he wears, and one of the toddler outfits she’s liked recently is one that matches her new dress.

Big Girl and Baby Boy have received outfits from the new autumn/winter collection by London-based Little Green Radicals to review, and as the weather has been getting cooler I’ve liked dressing the kids in the clothes in the clothes in dark, muted colours.

For 16-month-old Baby Boy we chose corduroy bubble bottoms in deep blue (from £26), the sleeping moon appliqué top in deep blue and a still water blue pointelle cardigan. The bubble bottoms are particularly sweet, and it’s easy to change the length of them by rolling up the legs.

Baby Boy now often wears the deep blue bubble bottoms paired with a white collared top and dark grey knitted cardigan, and Big Girl could easily wear the Little Green Radicals Moon and Star everyday dress (from £32) with a navy wool cardigan on colder days when the deep blue cotton pointelle cardigan may not be enough to keep her warm.

I was also considering choosing gold trousers for Big Girl instead of the dress, and I think the gold yellow trousers would look pretty with the deep blue appliqué top.

The new Little Green Radicals collection features colours that complement each other, and parents can expect comfortable, practical and relaxed everyday clothes in soft organic cotton that are easy to mix and match.

What really makes Little Green Radicals stand out is still the fact that it is a 100% organic and fair trade London fashion brand for children up to age 8, and the majority of the clothes are unisex, making them ideal for handing down to siblings.

Functional and organic fashion for little ones!
