0Little Liberty reveals spring/summer collection
Last week I went to a very Instagrammable children’s department. It was the unique childrenswear section at Liberty.
Little Liberty unveiled its new spring/summer 2018 collection at a press breakfast, and I was excited to see how Liberty has transformed it’s children’s department since my last visit to the iconic store.
Following a refresh in 2017, the children’s department at Liberty has a vintage-style look with a mix of gifts and fashion beautifully presented. Luxury childrenswear brands like Stella McCartney are now featured alongside an array of new discoveries. In the new department, there is everything from sweet and classic baby clothes to children’s clothes with funky prints and slogans.
For spring/summer 2018, the age range has been increased to 0 to 8 years, and fans of Scandinavian children’s brands will enjoy seeing Sweden’s Mini Rodini and Denmark’s Soft Gallery and Maileg in the collection.
The fashion is presented next to an impressive range of unique toys, accessories and skincare, including brands like Little Aurelia with bioorganic luxury skincare products for little people. I also spotted a colour-in table mat I could see the children loving, and there were several cool bits and bobs that I hadn’t seen before.
I was also excited to be able to take home an illustration by Swedish-born designer Karin Akesson. Her quirky and sweet children’s illustrations are for sale in Little Liberty, and with inspirational quotes like ‘Dream Big’, they could make an adorable addition to a nursery or children’s room.
A treasure trove of gifts and unique finds!
