Little London Awards celebrates star baby and children’s products
On Tuesday I left the house with a drawing of a ‘night animal’. I had told Baby Girl I was going out in the dark, and she wanted to make sure I was safe, so she gave me the drawing of an animal that was up at night that she’d seen in London Zoo.
I clearly came very well-prepared for the first Little London Awards at Hurlingham Club in Fulham.
This was where the children’s industry had gathered that evening –ready to celebrate the stars that make our lives easier, more fashionable and more fun.
As the awards were presented, I was thrilled to see Swedish brand BabyBjorn winning the best baby carrier category, and Norwegian Stokke Tripp Trapp winning the best high chair award.
In the best baby essential category, I was not surprised to see Water Wipes at the top, and when we reached the travel and attraction awards, I was excited to see LaplandUK being awarded best family day out.
For best new product, I was happy to see Moba being recognised in the top 3, as the Moba Moses basket looks ideal for design-conscious new parents who want baby to have a safe and hygienic place to sleep in the early days.
