0London children’s birthday party venues: Beaufort House
Mummy-friendly Beaufort House on King’s Road is a brilliant place to stop for a two-course weekday lunch or morning coffee and croissant, and Baby Girl and I both really enjoyed going to the monthly baby cinema last year. With the convenient Chelsea location and event space upstairs, this is also a venue I would consider for Baby Girl’s all important 2-year birthday party celebrations.
Beaufort House
Restaurant, bar and private member’s club Beaufort House has three rooms that can be hired for children’s birthday parties with between 10 and 60 children. Parties can be held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and there are two party slots to choose from–11-1.30 or 3-5.30.
The Club Room (£100 to hire) is ideal for 10-25 children, and the Members Lounge (£200 to hire) and the Champagne Bar (£150 to hire) are better for larger parties with up to 60 children. There’s a plasma screen in the Club Room, so for babies and toddler parties, parents might choose to put on a DVD to entertain the little ones at the front of the room, where the staff can also put a large play mat.
The children’s party food menu is priced at £15 per child, which could include mini crust-less sandwiches for babies and toddlers, or pizza and breaded chicken goujons and jelly and ice cream for older children, for example. The menu also includes unlimited apple and orange juice, and there’s a special party menu for teenage birthdays for £20 per child. To make the party extra special, you can also book a chocolate fountain for £150, including marshmallows and fruit, and parents are welcome to bring in a birthday cake.
Beaufort House can help with contacts for entertainers and balloon companies, and they can also organise party bags and table setting for an additional charge.
Happy planning!
