Five-star luxury Knightsbridge hotel Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park has a variety of rooms that can be used for children’s birthday parties, including newly refurbished Carlyle Room, which has a retractable wall and is ideal for birthdays with a wow-factor, such as a ‘real-life’ fairyland. The Carlyle Room is suitable for up to 80 guests with production or 200 for a reception.
Room hire costs depend on the room, number of guests and month of year. The children’s menus start from £30.00 per child for a two-course menu, and there are different options for parents to choose from depending on the time of the party–breakfast canapés, canapé menus or afternoon tea. On arrival, the hotel can offer quirky non-alcoholic “mocktails” and cocktails.
