0London children’s birthday party venues: Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park
If Baby Girl had seen the images I received from Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park’s fantasy children’s birthday parties, I’m pretty sure she would have said her favourite word: “Wow”. The luxury Knightsbridge hotel now offers sophisticated and bespoke parties for children. Think fairy forests or pirate ships! This is where you can dream big.
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park
Five-star luxury Knightsbridge hotel Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park has a variety of rooms that can be used for children’s birthday parties, including newly refurbished Carlyle Room, which has a retractable wall and is ideal for birthdays with a wow-factor, such as a ‘real-life’ fairyland. The Carlyle Room is suitable for up to 80 guests with production or 200 for a reception.
Room hire costs depend on the room, number of guests and month of year. The children’s menus start from £30.00 per child for a two-course menu, and there are different options for parents to choose from depending on the time of the party–breakfast canapés, canapé menus or afternoon tea. On arrival, the hotel can offer quirky non-alcoholic “mocktails” and cocktails.
When booking your little one’s party at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, you will also have a dedicated co-ordinator on hand, and the hotel can assist with recommendations of companies providing entertainment and decorations, or you can use your own contacts. You can also bring in a birthday cake if you wish.
Happy planning – and dreaming!
