London children’s birthday party venues: The Pottery Café Fulham

Ever since I lived next to an Emma Bridgewater shop and started collecting pottery, I’ve loved going to The Pottery Café to decorate my own pieces to go with the rest of our Emma Bridgewater pottery and I’ve always wanted to have a pottery painting party. The only challenge has been that I think I’m slightly too old to invite friends for a pottery painting birthday, so I’m waiting to live through Baby Girl instead!

Baby Girl is perhaps still a bit too young to have a pottery decorating party, but I think it sounds ideal for girls aged four years and older. The countdown has started!

The Pottery Cafe Fulham
The Pottery Café in Fulham Road has a separate party room in the basement, which can be hired for up to 18 painters for £50. There are set party packages for £24.95 per child, and this includes one item of pottery up to the price of £14.95 and sandwiches, crisps and a juice box for each child.

There’s no need for an entertainer as the pottery painting will keep party-goers busy, but The Pottery Café is happy to discuss any special requests. Parents are also welcome to play music in the party room, and it’s also fine to bring in the much-anticipated birthday cake.

Since little ones may need assistance when decorating, The Pottery Café has set out guidelines for parents relating to how many adults need to be present for the party depending on the age of the children, so this is worth looking into before booking.
