03 top London experiences for super hero fans
Watch the new Lego Justice League Cosmic Clash movie
When we were invited to a Warner Bros screening of the new Lego super heroes animated comedy–Lego DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League Cosmic Clash–which is out on DVD and Blu-ray today, I wasn’t sure if we should go, as three-year-old Big Girl is more the Lego Friends type. But Daddy T was determined not to miss out on a super hero weekend outing, and after watching the witty film I’m very glad we didn’t. With Supergirl and Wonder Woman also featuring in the brand new Lego film, the whole family enjoyed the laugh-out-loud funny scenes and super hero magic. In the comedy, the Justice League protects Planet Earth from Brainiac, a super-computer that collects planets and has his eyes set on Planet Earth. One to watch for any young or old super hero fans!
Book tickets for Marvel Universe Live
In September Marvel Universe Live hits The O2, bringing together Marvel characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk and more, in a live arena show with special effects, stunts, motorcycles and more. When looking online, there appears to be limited availability despite tickets for two of the performances to this popular show only going live on Friday. For arena shows I’ve booked late in the past, however, we’ve still had fantastic experiences despite sitting further away from the action.
See the Lego Statue of Hulk Buster at The Toy Store
Super hero and Lego fans will also enjoy seeing the UK’s largest Lego statue in The Toy Store, which opened on Oxford Street last year. The life-size Hulk Buster Smash Lego model, which was installed on 9 March, is 2.5 metres tall, 2.3 metres wide and weighs over a tonne.
