London Kids Week returns for 2021

Families eager for a return to London’s theatre scene this summer should have a look at Kids Week, which opens for bookings on 30 June 2021.

During Kids Week, kids aged 17 or under go free to a selection of London shows when going with a full-paying adult, and in previous years I’ve bought tickets to Wicked, Mamma Mia and Disney’s Aladdin through Kids Week

It used to be a week-long event, but the deal has since been extended to the entire month of August, and tickets for August 2021 go on sale at 10am on 30 June 2021. This year, instead of one full price ticket and one free kids ticket, it will be presented as two half price tickets. For full details of how the offer works this year, see the Kids Week website.

I’ve found Kids Week to be a good time to book tickets for musicals, but it’s also worth remembering using Kids Week to book tickets to many of the other shows that are on this summer.

In addition to a number of musicals, some of the shows that are scheduled to run this summer include Zog at Rose Theatre and Cadogan Hall; The Tiger Who Came to Tea at Theatre Royal Haymarket; Twirlywoos at Leicester Square Theatre; Fireman Sam Live at Earls Court; Dinosaur World Live at Earls Court; Horrible Histories Barmy Britain at Apollo Theatre and many more.
