Review: Luxury baby towels from My Little Venture

I love staying in top hotels with plush towels – and I’m sure Baby Girl feels the same. But she doesn’t have to go on holiday to get that feeling of luxury. My lucky little girl has received a sample towel from My Little Venture to test, and her new towel is thick and feels like the ultimate high-end baby towel!

The lovely hooded towel is big compared to many other baby towels, which I think is important to consider when choosing towels for newborns, as it’s nice to have towels that last long. The towels from My Little Venture (£50) are meant to wrap babies up to 16 months old and be used as normal towels for children up to 2 years old, but I still wrap 18-month-old Baby Girl in hers and I’m sure we’ll continue using it even after she’s turned 2.

The towel, handcrafted in London, has 650 gsm Egyptian cotton towelling on one side and a beautiful print cotton fabric on the other side. It may take longer to dry than thin towels, but it’s so snug and we have a heated towel rail, so I wouldn’t think twice about this.

I chose the cute pink flamingo print, and I love the fact that this print also comes in wallpaper, fabric and cushions. The matching products would have made for a fab nursery design.
