How to make Christmas fun for toddler

Colour-in table clothGrandma N has suggested it might be too early for Baby Girl to have an advent calendar. The issue is that she doesn’t quite seem to understand the concept of only opening one present every day, and she gets very upset on the days she gets something more expensive than a box of raisins. Raisins are the best.

But despite the confusion surrounding the calendar, I’m determined to ensure 15-month old Baby Girl is getting into the spirit of Christmas.

We’ve seen Santa eight times in the past few weeks and been to four Christmas play dates, but I want her to feel Christmassy at home too.

That’s why our tablecloth is a massive Christmas colour-in sheet from Eggnogg (see photo), her new bedtime book is Usborne’s ‘That’s not my reindeer’, I’ve downloaded the Christmas episodes of Peppa Pig for her, and tomorrow we’ll start sticking Christmas stickers in the First Sticker Book Christmas by Usborne.

Ho, ho, ho.
