0Making flower arrangements at Judith Blacklock to celebrate Yardley London’s floral fragrances
Today I’ve been trying to call several customer services operators asking for same-day delivery services in London. I often end up being a bit last minute when it comes to some of the presents, partly because I start Christmas preparations so early that I’ve changed my mind about the gift-giving by the time Christmas arrives.
The problem has resulted in the wrapping of several print-outs–everything from pretend tickets to shows to pictures of soon-to-arrive shoes. The process has reminded me of an evening I had in the run-up to Christmas when I had been invited to the charming Judith Blacklock flower school in Knightsbridge to celebrate Yardley London’s floral fragrances.
It was a treat to escape to the warm and welcoming flower school and sit down on a stool around a communal table to learn about English flowers and flower arrangements. In fact, it felt like I had a chance to unwind, taking a break from everyday stresses and get creative.
We were taught how to make the most beautiful wreaths in pink and purple shades, reflecting the colours of the Yardley London gift set collection.
Yardley London offers inexpensive gift sets, such as a lavender bath bomb, a nail set with a rose hand cream and emery board, a box with colourful floral bathing petals, a set with a lavender-perfumed talc and soap and much more. I received a couple of sets to review, and particularly liked the Luxury Body Wash collection with paraben-free bathing gels. Yardley London gift sets are available from Boots and other retailers, so it’s still possible to get these as stocking fillers or gifts before Christmas Day.
In addition, I was really charmed by Judith Blacklock Flower School. I enjoyed the cheerful and inclusive atmosphere, and the advice and assistance provided by the team. Judith seemed to be a wealth of knowledge about flowers, and I felt I had learnt so much when I walked out of my class with a creation that made me feel really proud. As another last minute present idea, I would suggest a gift voucher to Judith Blacklock Flower School, which has published a range of 2019 dates for a variety of flower arranging courses.
