0Managing a baby laundry business
I hope Daddy T was trying to be funny on Sunday night. He had just returned from a skiing holiday in Zermatt, and was looking through his wardrobe. He couldn’t find all the shirts he wanted, and asked me why I hadn’t done the laundry in the five days he’d been away.
Not cool. I had done six washes that day alone.
Daddy T had missed the opportunity to witness the effect a vomiting baby can have on the amount of laundry produced.
It seemed like I was running a laundry business the days after Baby Girl had come down with the short-lived bug going around. I even learnt something new about how the washing machine and the different cycles worked.
What I didn’t learn was to check over everything I was wearing before facing the world again after a few days at home with Baby Girl. On Tuesday, I found myself walking around with large, white stains running down the front of my winter coat, and sticky marks on my shoulder bag. Definitely not cool.
