0Mini-me: Matching dad and son summer fashion
Soon after I found out we were having a boy, I came across an adorable Ralph Lauren snowflake sweater and figured we had to have it. The one reason we had to have it was not that it was the most practical baby garment out there. It was just impossible not to buy it, as Daddy T happened to have the same sweater. Very sweet.
I can’t wait for them to wear their matching outfits this winter, and when Baby Boy is ready to expand his wardrobe with swim shorts and sneakers, I’m sure I’ll be looking for more matching summer outfits too.
The stylish Orlebar Brown swim shorts are available in sizes 2-12 years for boys (starting from £95), and they come in both bright colours and photographic prints like the men’s collection. To wear with the swim shorts, there are super practical long-sleeved white or navy sports tops (see picture) with UPF 50+ protection for both kids (£95) and adults (£145). The ideal holiday outfit for dad and son!
Daddy T also wears Vilebrequin, and I can’t wait to get Baby Boy his own Vilebrequin swim shorts in size 2 years too (starting from £75). Several of the colourful and seasonal Vilebrequin prints are available in both the kids and men’s collection, and the blue special edition Vilebrequin Havaianas flip flops (from £30) are also available in both men’s and kids’ sizes.
For days away from the beach, Daddy T often wears his New Balance shoes, and I’ve already seen the ones he has in a kids version with velcro straps (from £28). Since Daddy T claims the New Balance shoes are comfortable, I’m sure they must be brilliant for little walkers on holiday too. It’s all about matching outfits!
