Where to meet Santa in South West London

Barker & Stonehouse
Father Christmas is making an appearance today at Barker & Stonehouse in Battersea, where there’s a Christmas event on from 3.30-6pm. Children can meet him until 5.30pm, and there will also be carol singing from 4-5pm. This event is hosted by Charles Farris (the in-store candle shop) in partnership with local charity, Thomas’s Schools Foundation, and I really enjoyed the Christmas event at Barker & Stonehouse last year. It was such a lovely atmosphere in the store, and there were even goody bags for the children, which I’ve heard there will be this year too. In addition, there will be wreath-making demonstrations, complimentary refreshments and a charity raffle. Barker & Stonehouse offers free customer parking.

Duke of York Square
I also really enjoyed the Santa experience at Duke of York Square last year, so I’ve signed us up for this again this year. It is free to meet Santa at Duke of York Square too, and the grotto was really nicely decorated last year. It seemed like a peaceful escape from the busy shopping streets outside, and we came home with a festive photo of Baby Girl, me and Santa!

Harrods
The Harrods Christmas Grotto is the ultimate place to meet Santa in South West London, and when we visited last year the Harrods Santa seemed incredibly busy. It seems wrong to book a free meet-and-greet with Santa in September every year, and I ended up skipping it this year, but we’ll probably go back next year instead. Last year, we had to queue for a while before meeting Santa, and there were some elves entertaining us in the queue. We also bought the photo of our family meeting Santa in the Disney shop after the meeting, which is a fun souvenir.
