Muji launches kidswear collection exclusively in Chelsea store
After visiting two farms in a week, I’m not surprised the latest game three-year-old Big Girl has invented is ‘Guess the Animal’, which typically involves her hopping around on the kitchen floor with two hands on her head and me guessing that she’s a bunny. We love animals–and particularly rabbits.
That’s why I also knew she would adore the organic cotton Muji t-shirt with rabbit print, which she received to review. The t-shirt is part of a new Muji kidswear collection with animal print t-shirts, featuring not only a rabbit print t-shirt but also a frog, butterfly, bear and other animals.
The kidswear range, which many will have spotted on display in the shop window at Muji King’s Road, is only available in the Muji Chelsea shop as long as stocks last.
Three-year-old Big Girl received the rabbit print t-shirt (£9.95) in size 110cm, the smallest size in the collection, and she can wear it now although it’s loose fitting. To dress it up and make it fit her girly style, she’s paired it with a skirt and pink accessories.
The print is sweet and the material feels soft on the skin, which is one of the things I look for when shopping for kidswear. With this in mind, I would be excited to see more children’s essentials from Muji going forward.
I remember visiting a huge Muji shop in Tokyo and being surprised about all the clothes and accessories available from the Japanese brand, and it’s great to see Muji bringing more quality basics to UK too.
The Muji kidswear collection includes every day t-shirts, tops, tunics, jeans and dungarees in sizes 110-130cm, and there are also baby clothes available from size 80cm
