0When mum needs Tile for finding lost items
On Friday I lost my very favourite jacket when walking around Fulham and I’ve called around to cafes and shops to see if anyone has found my much-loved beige leather jacket. I’ve been very upset about losing it, kicking myself for not labelling my own clothes with stickers–or putting a Tile in the pocket.
Tile Mate is my latest ‘gadget’ buy, which I’ve come to love. It is the key ring-style product from Tile, a tracking system for finding lost or misplaced items, which has helped me several mornings recently when I’ve been rushing out of the house but not immediately seen my keys or phone.
I bought a set of Tile Mates for keys, and the Tile Mates are slim and square-shaped with a hole to make them easy to attach to keys or luggage, for example. They feature tiny speakers and via the Tile app users can ring their items.
I think the system is super useful for quickly finding keys in the house, and to check that all key sets are nearby and when they were last seen.
If I’d had a Tile Slim–the other Tile product designed for wallets and other items–in my leather jacket pocket I would have been able to see where I was when I last had my jacket, so I could have narrowed down my search.
Next time!
