0Keeping the family safe with Mustela sun cream for baby and kids
I can’t say I was super impressed by the London summer weather before the school holiday started, but at least it was good enough for Big Girl to see someone who’d been sunburnt. This experience has made my summer holiday much smoother than expected.
We’ve had no arguments about sun cream. In fact, Big Girl even reminded me to buy some when we were in a pharmacy before going to France.
I then bought her the Mustela Very High Protection Sun Lotion, which I’ve been buying regularly in the past year, and I’ve also received Mustela sun care samples to review.
My favourite now is the Mustela spray, which is not what I first expected from a spray, but a soft sun cream that is easy to apply. I like that the creamy SPF 50+ Mustela sun cream is alcohol and fragrance-free, and great for families since it’s designed for babies and young children with delicate skin.
I tend to travel with one sun cream for the entire family to use, and we then need something that suits both baby and grown ups. This year, however, I’ve realised it’s worth adding a bit extra luggage and getting a separate sun cream for the face, as I’m refusing to have another summer covering my face in a thick, white layer every morning.
I loved testing the Mustela Very High Protection Sun Face Lotion, and I think this is silky smooth and feels better for all four of us on the face.
I also received the Mustela After Sun Spray to review, and I’ve bought a few more to make sure we have the refreshing spray at hand both abroad and at home. I think it’s nice for the kids too to hydrate the skin with a spray that feels slightly cooling after a long day on the beach.
With all the high protection sun care sorted though, I have a feeling Daddy T may be wondering why he’s not returning to London with a really flattering tan. I just think it’s more important to stay safe.
