0My 1st Years releases new Christmas collection
Last Thursday I collapsed on the sofa at the end of the day with a christmas stocking cookie personalised with my name. It felt pretty special.
The cookie was from the My 1st Years Christmas event I had been to earlier in the day in family club Maggie & Rose, and it made me remember how much I like personalised items.
Baby Girl has received several personalised gifts from My 1st Years from friends in the past, and when someone has gone to the trouble of personalising something it makes it seem like they’ve really made an effort to find a truly special gift and I always get incredibly impressed.
My 1st Years makes it easy to order a range of personalised gifts, and after seeing the new Christmas gift collection, released last week and receiving a personalised sleepsuit, cuddly bunny and bib for Baby Boy, I plan on impressing a few friends with personalised gifts for their little ones too.
From the Christmas collection, I particularly like the range of statement toys that can be personalised, including a ride-on fire engine (£120), which would make a lovely addition to a boy’s bedroom, and a charming wooden play kitchen (£150). There’s also a very cute children’s clothes rail, which would be perfect for little ones who like dressing up.
I’m also a big fan of personalised books to get little ones interested in reading, and the Christmas collection includes fairytale and Christmas-themed personalised books, as well as a personalised colouring book suitable for adults who need to de-stress.
I also love the personalised soft toys , as these can make cute gifts and stocking fillers. The cuddly bunny Baby Boy received is a soft Jellycat bunny (£20) dressed in a sweater with Baby Boy’s name, making it look super sweet.
For a long-lasting and very functional present, I love the personalised toy baskets too, and I’m about to buy one of these as gifts, as even the large size is lightweight and foldable which works well for us with family and friends abroad.
Ho ho ho!
