0Fun lockdown gifts for kids
When we were browsing shop windows the other day I spotted a t-shirt with a ‘Homeschool Mum’ print, and it made me want to get something for the children to keep as memories from these challenging and unique times. Here are three of the things I’ve looked at online so far:
1. Draw with Rob book
Illustrator Rob Biddulph’s twice weekly draw-alongs Draw with Rob have been a lockdown favourite for many, and this summer there’s a new Draw with Rob art activity book (HarperCollins, £6.99) coming out. The activity book, which will be published on 9 July, is currently available to pre-order online.
2. Customised lockdown t-shirts from Spreadshirt
Spreadshirt offers customers the opportunity to personalise t-shirts and other products, or print original designs by independent designers. To find ‘self isolation’ or ‘home school’ designs, you can either look under the #staysafe section Spreadshirt has created, or use the search bar to find unique designs.
3. PE with Joe t-shirts
As many of us have enjoyed numerous mornings with PE with Joe, this is one activity that is likely to be associated with lockdown. There are now organic cotton PE with Joe t-shirts available in both kids and adult sizes, and profits of the sales will go to NHS Charities Together.
