0How to organise a last minute Mother’s Day surprise
Book an EatFirst Mother’s Day brunch
Online restaurant EatFirst sent me a Mother’s Day brunch to try the other day, and the brunch can still be booked for tomorrow. It’s ideal for Londoners who live centrally and haven’t bought the ingredients for making something special for mum in the morning. I enjoyed a restaurant-style sourdough toast with avocado and eggs, and mango and pineapple that came in a separate pot – as well as several other little things like quinoa. My delivery also included a box with a small flower bouquet from Grace & Thorn, ideal for serving a delicious breakfast in bed. The first 25 brunch orders of the day come with the complimentary Mother’s Day flowers.
Buy a Home Spa London massage online
After reviewing Home Spa London in 2015, Daddy T and I decided that at times we need to recharge the batteries and treat ourselves to an at-home massage. We sometimes buy a course with Home Spa London, and book bi-weekly massages with the lovely founder Joanna. I think at-home spa services are ideal for busy mums – if you find providers you like – and a massage gift card is ideal for Mother’s Day.
Pop into Whole Foods
When I went to Whole Foods by Fulham Broadway yesterday, I noticed they had a selection of Mother’s Day hampers by the entrance, and they also have a hamper kit for £9.99. The kits make it easy to put together a beautiful Mother’s Day present with mum’s favourite creams, snacks, candles, water bottles or other fun things from this amazing supermarket.
