0Organising a play date to support Kids Company this Christmas
Baby Girl is all about being charitable this Christmas. That’s why we’ve invited her friends over for a play date in support of Kids Company, a charity that supports vulnerable children in London.
This morning, we will be decorating the house with balloons from Kids Company, baking cinnamon buns, putting out baby biscuits and sparkling elderflower, and dressing the coffee table in a Christmas-themed colour-in tablecloth from Eggnogg to entertain the little ones when they arrive in the afternoon.
We’ve invited all our guests to help support Kids Company by bringing a present from Kids Company’s Christmas wish list, and all the other mums have been incredibly supportive of this play date with a little festive twist.
Everyone is eager to help since there are too many children in London who face waking up on Christmas Day without a hot meal, warm clothes and without a single gift to open. Kids Company does an amazing job to help these children, and they are planning a massive party for more than 4000 children complete with a Christmas dinner and presents–and to support a further 7,500 with food and gift parcels.
By Baby Girl and her friends donating children’s books, puzzles, colouring books, crayons, dolls and other toys today, we hope to help put a smile on some of these children’s faces.
If you think you too can donate a present to help Kids Company organise the party, you can buy a present from the Kids Company John Lewis gift list (Gift List number 566276), or contact Kids Company for other ways to get involved.
