Review: London children’s birthday party with Sense Parties

Chris Sense Parties‘I want to have Chris at my party when I turn 5’

Big Girl is not only planning her birthday party for this summer but also next year’s event, and she constantly appears to be on the look out for talent. Yesterday it was Chris from children’s entertainment company Sense Parties she was excited to meet.

We had been offered the opportunity to review a party by Sense Parties, which offers a large selection of party packages for children’s birthdays. I’m always a bit nervous when it comes to trying children’s entertainers I haven’t met before, so I’d decided to try Sense Parties at Baby Boy’s little at-home garden party. There was no reason to worry though.

Chris, who had worked in the business for several years, was ideal as a party host, creating a great atmosphere and showing the ability to connect with both children and parents. We had opted for a teddy bear picnic party, and he came prepared with a huge teddy bear as well as disco lights and speaker.

It was a difficult group to entertain, with not everyone being in the over 3 age group that Sense Parties usually focus on, but the funny Chris kept the spirit up and got some eager girls and enthusiastic parents involved in the party games.

With a headset, loud voice and brilliant pop music, Chris got the party atmosphere going. He got us dancing, running under the parachute, and regularly shouting Happy Birthday.

The highlight of the party was the foam machine at the end. As Chris said, we were having an Ibiza-style morning, and by the end my legs were actually hurting from jumping around with Baby Boy in the foam.

I might not have guessed it, but Teddy Bear Picnic meets Ibiza foam party was exactly what we needed for a memorable party for Baby Boy!

Sense Parties offers a large variety of themed children’s birthday party packages, and the party started with around 45 minutes of party games before the children sat down to have their party food. After the meal, there was a 30-minute disco
