The Parent Practice launches parenting course in the City

One of the things Big Girl and I talked about in the first week of the new year was house rules. I remember learning about rules in a parenting course I reviewed at The Parent Practice, and to get the new year off to a good start I had four-year-old Big Girl help me come up with a couple of rules.

She suggested one rule could be to ask for a hug if someone started feeling cross and wanted to start screaming. We now have a short list of rules like this, and they’ve been useful to refer back to.

Considering the potential benefits of strong parenting skills, I’m not surprised parenting course provider The Parent Practice has continued to see growing demand for their services, and they are now for the first time running their 5-week core parenting skills course in the City to make it easy for working parents to fit it into a busy schedule.

The course, led by Juliet Richards, runs on Mondays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, and it starts on 23 January.

Ideal for kickstarting 2017 in a positive way!
